Zeekr delivered 37,216 vehicles in September 2026, up 103.85% from 18,257 in the same month of 2025, a sixth consecutive monthly record for the Geely Group marque.

That brings year-to-date deliveries to 288,404 cars, up 100.84% on the comparable period — the marque has doubled its size within a single year.

Two models sit behind that growth: the Zeekr 9X, which delivered 7,225 units in September after production of the five-seat version launched on 28 July was ramped up; and the Zeekr 7X, which passed ten thousand cars a month in each of the previous three months and whose cumulative worldwide sales have exceeded 200,000.

Year-to-date deliveries reach 288,404 cars, up 100.84% — the marque has doubled its size in a single year.

More important for the Gulf is that Zeekr has begun commercial-volume shipments of the 9X to the UAE at AED 369,900. That price places the car in a segment where it competes with European premium models — a comparison Zeekr makes explicitly in Europe too, after the 9X entered the German market in a price band overlapping the Porsche Cayenne.

The 9X is a full-size SUV with a plug-in hybrid drivetrain capable of generating electricity, and system output between 660 and 1,030 kilowatts depending on battery configuration, with two CATL batteries of 55.1 or 70 kilowatt-hours.

Zeekr quotes acceleration from zero to 100km/h in 3.1 seconds at full charge, and a CLTC electric range of between 220 and 302 kilometres depending on the battery. The car is offered with five seats or with six across three rows.

Zeekr now sells in more than fifty countries, but its entry into the Gulf with this model in particular is a different test: the luxury SUV segment is the most crowded in the region, and buyers there measure a marque by its service network rather than its specification sheet.

The practical question for a UAE buyer is whether the service and parts network will grow at the same rate as sales. That, not the horsepower figure, is what will determine the car’s value in three years.
