About Gulf Auto
The Gulf motoring newsroom. A motoring news platform written for the Gulf reader, which measures every story against one standard: where it came from, when, and what it means for the buyer in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

Editorial policy
We publish three times a day on working days: a morning briefing at 08:30, a midday bulletin at 12:30 for prices and launches, and an evening read at 17:30 for analysis and industry news.
We do not publish a story without an original source the reader can open. Where the source is in English or Chinese, we translate it and keep the source name, link and date visible with the story.
We draw a clear line between what is published and what is scheduled. Road tests in the editorial calendar appear with their dates and are not presented as published articles.
Sourcing policy
We rely on manufacturers’ official newsrooms, news agencies, and sites specialising in market data. Every story carries the name of its source and the date it was verified.

Pricing and specification standards
The interface distinguishes three states: verified for a price or figure announced by the manufacturer or its official distributor, indicative for a figure shown as an example inside the prototype, and scheduled for content not yet published.
Prices are as at their date of publication and may change, and global specifications are not necessarily the Gulf specification. Check with the local distributor before any purchase decision.
Photography
Model photographs in this prototype come from Wikimedia Commons under free licences, and are used as illustrative images rather than official manufacturer photography. The full credits list is available in the credits file inside the project.
A photograph may not match the model year or trim named in the text, which is why an “illustrative photograph” note appears beneath every lead image.
Language and the English edition
Gulf Auto is an Arabic platform first, running right to left. Model and marque names stay in Latin script with their direction isolated inside Arabic text so they read correctly.
The English edition is live under /en, running left to right, and you can move between the two from the language button at the top of the page. The button keeps you on the same page across both languages rather than returning you to the front page.
The whole interface is translated editorially, not machine-translated. Article bodies are being translated in turn: a story whose body is not yet translated shows its headline and summary in English and then points to the full Arabic text, rather than dropping Arabic prose into an English page.
Advertise with us
Advertising slots in the prototype are reserved placements at standard sizes: 970×90 at the top of the page, 728×90 within the content, and 300×250 in the sidebar.
No actual commercial content appears in these placements, and paid content is never mixed with editorial content anywhere on the site.
Contact
For editorial contact — a correction, a right of reply, or a story suggestion — write to hello@gulfauto.online. Every message is read.
The newsletter form and the sign-in dialog remain demonstrations inside the prototype: neither sends data to any server, and there is no real authentication.
