Doha hosts its round on 2 to 4 October 2026, remaining one of only two Formula 1 stops in the Gulf region this season.

The race is scheduled for 2–4 October at Lusail International Circuit under lights — here is what happens on each of the three days, and what sets this circuit apart.

Opened in 2004 for motorcycle racing and added to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021 — and that origin is what explains its flowing character and its severity on tyres.

The race runs over the weekend of 4 to 6 December as the final round of the season, and remains the standout event on the region’s calendar.
